1. Who we are

KleanQuote is provided by Chi Hou Ivan Iu, an individual seller ("we", "us"). When you use KleanQuote or buy a licence, you are contracting with Chi Hou Ivan Iu. Contact: support@kleanquote.com.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, buying a licence, or continuing to use KleanQuote, you agree to these terms. If you use KleanQuote on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. If you use it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age.

3. The service

KleanQuote is web-based software that helps cleaning businesses configure pricing, build quotations, generate branded PDF quotes, email them to customers and track their status. You must keep your login details confidential and are responsible for activity under your account. Please keep your account information accurate and up to date.

4. Free trial

New accounts receive a free trial. When it ends, creating and editing quotes requires a licence. Your existing quotes and settings are kept.

5. Licence terms

When you buy a licence, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use KleanQuote for your own business. A licence is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It includes:

• Features: every feature available in KleanQuote at the time of purchase, including dashboard, pricing configuration, branded PDFs, email delivery, customer acceptance links and saved quotes, with unlimited quotes.
• Updates and bug fixes: provided for 12 months from your purchase date. After that, you keep using the version and features you have.
• Direct support: email support for 12 months from your purchase date, at support@kleanquote.com. We aim to reply within 3 business days.
• Hosting and cloud access: KleanQuote is hosted by us. Your licence includes hosted access to the service and secure cloud storage of your settings, logo and quotations for as long as we operate KleanQuote. If we ever decide to stop operating the service, we will give at least 90 days' notice so you can download your quotations as PDFs.

Founding licences are offered in limited numbers at a reduced price in exchange for feedback on how you quote. Giving feedback is voluntary and does not affect your licence.

6. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse KleanQuote. In particular, you must not:

• use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to send spam;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• upload malware, probe or test its security, scrape it, or interfere with its operation;
• reverse engineer it, resell or redistribute it, share your licence, or circumvent technical limits.

8. Your content

You own the data you enter, such as your company details, prices, customers and quotes. You give us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to use your customers' details.

9. Our intellectual property

We own KleanQuote and all related intellectual property, including the software, documentation and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

10. Service level and warranties

We work to keep KleanQuote reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Prices it suggests are calculations based on your own settings; you are responsible for checking quotes before sending them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use, or your breach of these terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using KleanQuote at any time. When access ends, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to download your quotations before your data is deleted, unless the law or a security risk prevents this.

13. General

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not transfer your account or licence without our consent; we may transfer these terms as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business. We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
